About

Explore new ways to understand yourself and others

Welcome. I am glad you are considering counseling as a step toward greater well-being. I work with clients to look at thoughts and behaviors that could be helpful or harmful and to consider where and when those thoughts and behaviors started. My goal is for you to feel heard and valued as you understand yourself more deeply and consider any steps toward change. I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2005 with Master of Science and Educational Specialist degrees and have since worked in a variety of settings--hospital emergency mental health, community mental health, schools, and private practice. I enjoy utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients grow. If your spiritual beliefs are an important value in your counseling work, I am a Christian and am glad to incorporate a Christian perspective in our work, only upon client request. If you'd like more information or would like to make an appointment, please reach out by email. I am also available for a scheduled phone consultation if you'd prefer a phone call. Please email me to schedule that.
